Through its KCAA issued ATO certificates, DAC Aviation International is able to internally train maintenance and flight personnel. Since 2006, the ATO allows DAC Aviation International to manage a flight school providing both Private Pilot License (PPL) training, Commercial Pilot License Training (CPL) and Multi -Engine. IFR and Multi IFR instrument rating training is also offered.
The ATO approval authorizes our organization to provide courses in other aviation related disciplines such as dispatch, cabin crew training, crew resource management (CRM), human factors and dangerous goods.
The following aircraft are utilized for the flight-training program:
• Cessna 150
• Cessna 152
• Cessna 172 x 2
• Piper Cherokee
• Piper Warrior
• Piper Aztec
All are maintained at DAC Aviation International fixed base operations facility. The flight training facilities are located in a dedicated facility with classrooms, an operations room and the use of a Kenyan Civil Aviation Authority simulator.
